This program is designed for individuals wishing to improve their abilities to serve in local congregational ministry. After establishing strong biblical foundations in the Certificate in Biblical Studies, students will learn about ethics, family systems, and local ministry.

Program Learning Outcomes

The Bachelor of Religious Studies program imparts a general foundation in the biblical and theological disciplines. Distinctively, the outcomes of the B.R.S. program are to prepare graduates who,

  • Demonstrate an awareness of the content and meaning of the biblical canon.
  • Apply the tools for sound exegesis of biblical scripture.
  • Are equipped for personal spiritual formation.
  • Can critique and use information from a wide range of sources.
  • Can provide effective Christian leadership in diverse organizations, institutions, and countries.

Specific Learning Objectives

The Program Learning Outcomes above are achieved by focusing on important learning objectives that are taught and reinforced throughout the various courses. Many of these objectives are addressed in the C.B.S. program but are reinforced and further developed in the B.R.S. program.  Students completing a B.R.S. degree will

  • Understand the impact of the historical and cultural background of the biblical texts.

  • Be able to evaluate their personal spiritual lives in light of biblical foundations and benefits

Time Allowance and Cost

The projected completion time for the Bachelor’s degree is 4 years for students who follow the regular academic semesters. However, the entire program can be completed online in the comfort of your home and at your own pace.  The cost is broken down into instalments per semester for ease of payment for students who are unable to pay per year of studies at once. There’s a one-time $25 registration fee and a tuition charge of $750 per semester, and $50 for course materials. Tuition and fees are guaranteed for only two (2) years.  Course requirements may be adjusted at any time. The requirements are displayed in the curriculum assigned to their username. Â
