This book is the story of my walk with God and the various supernatural encounters with Angels and Our Lord Jesus Christ that have shaped and transformed my entire life and purpose. It is my heart’s desire that the same awesome God that visited me many times and in various ways and changed my life; would visit you in a very unique and personal way. The grace of God changed the story of my life through supernatural encounters with Angels and with the Lord Jesus Christ. There is no person too sinful to be saved, there is no person too contemptible to be accepted by God and there is no person too depraved to be transformed and used by God for His glory and purpose. There is hope for the desperate and a way out of every negative and frantic situation.
I was born in a village in West Africa where there were no hospitals, no secondary schools, no police stations, no pipe borne water, no electricity; where death of children was normal every week due to malaria and cholera but thanks to God that I did survive. I remember waking up one early morning, just to find out that my junior brother that I slept with on the same bed had died in his sleep; and I and him where sharing the same blanket all night.
My father was the priest of the village god; we looked unto our dead ancestors for protection and for favor to succeed in life. But instead of peace and favor, all we got was afflictions and misfortunes which were attributed to the fact that the gods were angry and demanded various sacrifices to appease them. I was living enslaved to the fear of the gods that depended on me to feed them with daily and weekly sacrifices and libations. What a life of bondage to live without the saving knowledge of the true and loving God.
Because of the sacrifices and offerings to the gods, by the age of ten I became a drunkard, since my father, the priest, appointed me to be responsible for serving alcoholic drinks in the meeting of the elders; and by their tradition I was forced to drink my share every day and eventually I became alcoholic. My little world was full of more darkness, sadness and fears but Jesus had a better plan for me.
As I look back at my early childhood experiences and all that I went through until my encounter with the saving grace of the Lord; all I can say is “thank you Lord for loving me”. Today I am healthy, happy, saved and privileged to be His servant preaching the gospel to the nations of the world. All this is just because His grace saved me and anointed me to bear witness of the love of God.
My first encounter with an Angel was at the age of seven an Angel was sent to me in the night; I saw a man walk through my doors and walk straight me and sat on my bed. I was laying in bed alone in the room and there was light shining from his body. He was just so beautiful to behold and peace filled my heart and I smiled as I look to his face.
All he did was just looked at my face and smiled. I was excited and though as a child at that time, did not have any personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I told my Catholic parents my experience at night and they said “it may be God want to use you and may be God is calling you to serve him”. To my parents, serving God has to do with becoming a priest. That was exactly how it turned out to be and I am very grateful to God for His grace that found me and chose me to be a vessel for His glory and a priest according to the New Testament, filled with the Holy Spirit and power.
It will take a divine visitation for the unqualified to become vessels of honor and kingdom history makers for the salvation of many.
It required a divine visitation for Simon Peter to become an apostle of Jesus Christ from a common fisherman; he became a teacher of the word of God with awesome signs and wonders following. It took a divine encounter for Saul to become Paul and an apostle to the Gentiles and was used by God to write two third of the New Testament. You need an encounter
